CROOW is a creative project management software, built to streamline communication between Clients & Marketing teams.

CROOW & The Management Atheneum team’s objective is to help Project Managers succeed …

In the world of project management, it is important to acknowledge that sometimes your projects will fail. However, as a project manager, it is your role to determine how to address these failures moving forward and streamline workflows. Sometimes these mishaps happen due to human error from the client, project manager, or creative side. However, according to the Project Management Institute, the main reason projects fail is due to weak processes. Keep reading as we explore the problems that can occur in project management, and how project management softwares like CROOW can help.

1. Lack of Communication and Collaboration

As human beings, we often underestimate the importance of communication. Whether in our personal lives or professional endeavors, constant and clear communication is key to reducing stress and getting the job done. When it comes to a creative project, there are many avenues of communication that need to be clear. The client needs to properly identify their goals to the agency, the project manager needs to clearly brief the creative team, and the team working on the project needs to talk and collaborate effectively. Without collaboration vessels, communication can get misconstrued, information can be lost in translation, and errors in your projects can occur.

2. Lack of Clear Goals and Objectives

Along with communication, a seamless project must have clear goals and objectives. The client needs to provide a clear vision, or the agency needs to assist them in landing on one. From there, detailed goals need to be communicated to the various team members working on the project. Without defined objectives, the project outcome may be different than what was originally intended by the client.

3. Lack of Accountability

Communication and objectives are must-haves, but they will not get anywhere without accountability. Without a project management software, it can be difficult to determine and remember which task was assigned to who, and when the person needs to complete it by. Accountability is needed to assure that pieces of the puzzle do not slip through the cracks, which can lead to inconsistencies in the project overall. Particularly when project tasks are dependent on one another, accountability is key for clarity of priority, and a project management software can provide a big-picture view to help all team members understand the part they have to play in on-time completion.

4. Lack of Proper Client Relations

Although project management is seen as more of an internal process, client relations play a huge factor as well. Without good client relations, budgets and billing can get confused, leading to an unhappy client. This can also apply to deadlines and project approvals. The proper project management software can help improve these client relations and streamline the project management process overall.

5. How CROOW Can Help

Although many project management issues can pop up, software like CROOW can save the day. CROOW is a project management platform created by creatives, for creatives, that helps to streamline workflow processes. With collaboration and client relationship management features, CROOW is the perfect fit for creative teams — especially those working remotely. The calendars, To-do’s and time tracking features make sure that every team member is held accountable and hits their deadlines. Collaboration tools including Requests, Approvals, and feedback capabilities improve communication between people involved during each step of the project. Unlike other project management softwares, everything you need to manage your projects is housed in the same platform. As it is cloud-based, CROOW is a one-stop-shop for project management that can be accessed anywhere from any device.
